How should I store SV Iced Yogurt? Should I keep it in the fridge or freezer?

Iced yogurt should be stored in the same way as ice cream; in your freezer at -18°C and eaten like an ice cream. It is best left to soften slightly before serving to get the full flavour and creamy texture. Do not defrost to eat. Treat it just like an ice cream and like ice cream, don’t re-freeze if defrosted.

I am a diabetic, I can eat unsweetened yogurt, can I eat Sempre Viva?
Although Sempre Viva is made with live yogurt culture and natural ingredients, it does contain sugar and for the purpose of calculating sugar intake for diabetic purposes we recommend you treat Sempre Viva iced yogurt as an ice cream and read the ingredients listing.

I like the idea of eating live yogurt wherever possible for improved digestion. Does SV contain live yogurt?
Yes, SV is made with three live yogurt cultures. Two of which are probiotic: Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii, Subsp. Bulgaricus and Subsp. Lactis.

If I can’t buy SV locally, could I take a normal chilled yogurt, add fruit and put in the freezer myself?
No, Good idea, but it doesn’t work. SV iced yogurt is made using a unique recipe and production process and cannot be replicated in this way. If you can’t find SV locally; contact us with a recommendation of a quality retailer local to you who may be interested in becoming a SV stockist.

I am gluten intolerant, can I eat SV?
Yes, SV is gluten free. It is also suitable for vegetarians and contains no GM products.
